We have benefited from the Local Giving platform since 2011 and it is the main way people can support what we do. Anyone can give a one-off or monthly donation as well as things like a sponsored 5k run to support our work, you can be assured that every penny helps us deliver our valued services. It costs over £400,000 per year to run our charity and deliver essential services, and so financial support is crucial to our growth and sustainability. We continue to work very hard at securing enough funds to sustain and develop our work through the submission of funding applications to various trusts and charities, fundraising and encouraging donations.
We would like to acknowledge current financial support provided by our main funder the Scottish Government. Other recent funders supporting our work are: South Lanarkshire Council, North Lanarkshire Council, and the many individuals who have raised funds and made donations. We would also like to acknowledge support from some local businesses who provide donations and prizes for fundraising activities, to help LRCC deliver its services to survivors of sexual violence in Lanarkshire.
