Our support workers are fully trained to support you at a pace that suits you. We encourage you to be in control of this process, to share only what you are comfortable with and set your own agenda for ongoing work, with our support. We support anyone who has experienced any type of rape of sexual abuse, whether that be recent or historic. Support can also be offered to friends and family members.
Self referrals can be made by calling 01698 527 003 or by emailing email@example.com. If you hear the answer machine and you are comfortable leaving a message, only leave a first name and telephone number where it is safe for us to reach you and we will call you back within 24 hours (barring weekends). Although we are currently operating a waiting list of 3 months for an initial session, we will make sure you receive some form of advice, support or information at the point of referral.
Referrals are also welcome from other professionals and agencies , however, please ensure that the person has agreed to the referral first. Please note that the business line (01698 527 006) is not a secure line and not suitable for support calls.
The Rape Crisis Scotland National Helpline is also available every evening from 6pm to midnight on 08088 01 03 02.
If you are male you can receive support by calling the Sandyford Counselling & Support Service on 0141 211 6700 Mon-Thu 9am-8pm and Fri 9am-4pm
